Founded in 1964, Kohi Seibu Honten (the main store) is a long-established kissaten, a traditional Japanese coffee house, just a three-minute walk from Shinjuku Station in Tokyo. Beautiful stained glass and red sofas give the room a nostalgic Showa-era atmosphere, and it is a beloved spot where a queue almost always forms. The house specialty is omurice (an omelet over ketchup-seasoned rice), praised for its soft, runny egg and the rich depth of its demi-glace sauce. There is also a generous selection of fruit-filled desserts, including pudding a la mode and cream anmitsu, a bowl of sweet agar jelly served with fruit and cream. For anyone who wants to experience a genuine coffee house in Shinjuku, this is a wonderful place to visit.

JR新宿駅から徒歩約3分のところにある「珈琲西武 本店」☕️ 1964年創業の老舗で、「新宿の純喫茶といえばここ！」というほど人気のお店✨ いつ行っても行列ができている印象で、今回も多くのお客さんで賑わっていました！ 西新宿には「珈琲西武 西新宿店」もあります！ 店内に入ってまず目を引くのが、美しいステンドグラスの照明✨ 昔ながらのソファや内装も相まって、昭和にタイムスリップしたようなレトロな空間が広がっています！ 店内は静かに過ごす喫茶店というよりは、人気店らしく少し賑やかな雰囲気 テーブルはやや小さめですが、1人でも入りやすく、実際に僕も何度か1人で利用してます！ メニューはオムライスやナポリタンなど昔ながらの喫茶店らしい洋食から、プリン・ア・ラ・モードやパフェなどのスイーツまで充実🍮 料理を楽しむのはもちろんですが、個人的にはこのレトロな空間を楽しむだけでも行く価値あり！ ステンドグラスを眺めながら昔ながらの喫茶店メニューを味わえるのが、珈琲西武ならではの魅力です！ 新宿で昭和レトロな純喫茶を探している方には、一度行ってみてほしいお店です！
いつも混んでいて並ぶから、諦めていたが、一年ぶりの歌舞伎町、あんまり来る機会もないから、今日は頑張って並びました。 キャラメルバナナパフェ130円。コスパ良し。 あえてオシャレにしない、量で勝負みたいな。 レトロなステンドグラスが、雰囲気があっていいですね。 若者が多いね。
西武パフェ、ブレンドコーヒー、オムライス 2950円。前訪問した時に長蛇の列で断念したお店。今回も、土曜日の16時位に伺いましたが20分くらい待ちました。私の敬愛するフォローワーさんの弥生ぃさんによると、新宿区のバッティングセンターを経営する「新宿メトログループ」がやってるお店のこと。そうなんだーと感心しました（弥生ぃさんのコメントはそのお店の成り立ち・歴史みたいなものもコメントして頂けるの大変興味深く拝見してます）。さて、当店名物のオムライスですが、玉子トロトロでふんわり感あり、口当たりが素晴らしいです！ルーの味がまた素晴らしい。西武パフェもクリームがそんなに甘くなく、フルーツが新鮮で良かったです。コーヒーもさすがの味です。店員さんのホスピタリティも素晴らしく長蛇の列ができるのも納得のお店でした。 Seibu Parfait, Blended Coffee, Omurice - 2950 yen. This is a restaurant I had to give up on visiting last time because of the long line. This time, I went around 4 PM on a Saturday, but still had to wait about 20 minutes. According to my beloved follower Yayoi, this restaurant is run by the "Shinjuku Metro Group," which also operates a batting center in Shinjuku Ward. I was impressed to learn that (I find Yayoi's comments very interesting because they often include details about the origins and history of the restaurant). As for the restaurant's specialty, omurice, the eggs were runny and fluffy, and the texture was wonderful! The curry sauce was also fantastic. The Seibu Parfait wasn't too sweet, and the fruit was fresh, which was great. The coffee was also excellent, as expected. The staff's hospitality was also wonderful, and it's no wonder that the restaurant has such long lines.
新宿の老舗純喫茶！絶品オムライスと豪華なクリームあんみつに感動☕️💖 移転後もあの豪華なステンドグラスは健在で、赤いソファに座るだけで優雅な気分になれます！🤤 人気の「新宿特製オムライス」は、デミグラスソースのコクが凄くてボリュームも満点。 デザートのクリームあんみつも、ソフトクリームが濃厚でフルーツたっぷりで本当に幸せな味です。 店内は広々としていて、スタッフさんの丁寧な対応も老舗ならでは✨ 新宿の喧騒を離れて、ゆっくりと「本物の喫茶店」を味わいたいならここ一択です！ この圧倒的な安心感と満足感、一度体験すれば確実に虜になります🥰📸🔥
プリンアラモード食べたくて訪問〜。せっかくなので一番人気のフワフワ卵のオムライスも頼みました。 プリンアラモード、フルーツもりもりで食べ応えありますね〜 華やかで素敵ですね。 オムライス、フワトロ卵がたまりません！これはオススメです。 ごちそうさまでした！
